A set of Halsbury’s Statutes was rescued from being pulped when The Sidney Nolan Trust invited book artists to take a volume each to create an artistic work. Each artist studied the content of their volume and made an artist’s book. The result was an exhibition, Re-imagining the Laws of England and Wales, that explores issues of law, order and liberty, celebrating 800 years of Magna Carta.
